Okay, so where to start.
Firstly I need to tell you I love wedding weekends. They are absolutely brilliant and I’m super-happy when I’m invited to shoot one (I have two more this year. *happy dance* )
The plot – English girl meets Aussie boy. They fall in love and bring to the world Violet (cutest.baby.ever) and they decide to marry in Cornwall because, well, mostly because it’s awesome.
Lacey and Matt were just fab to work with – their families and friends, too. A nicer, happier bunch of people you could not hope to meet.
Aside note – my Dad is Australian too and he and I have a reputation of being the loudest, most enthusiastic singers in any church thing we go to. I think I now know where it comes from…
The service was at the Parish Church of St Ia and after a quick stop at The Upper Deck of The Sloop for pasties and cider, the reception was held at the Porthgwidden Cafe.
The flowers were by Wheal Sarah and the wedding cake was made by the bride’s sister ( BRILLIANT cake). Surfing was had in the morning after for those of a
insane brave disposition.
Informal, relaxed and totally and utterly awesome (can we do it all again, please?)
I think that’s probably enough with the words.
To the pictures!…
Oh, another aside note. Yes, there are quite a few pictures of the sea. If I’m really honest there may be one or two too many. But I’m not taking them out (my blog – my rules) because so much about the day and the vibe was defined by it and, well, it’s just so darned pretty. Yes, alright, seagulls too.
