Kate and Ed – a Bristol wedding with added zoo creatures

Bristol. Bright lights, big city and wotnot. I, country gal that I am, still get a bit of a thrill from cities.

Kate and Ed married at Redlands Parish Church followed by a reception a Bristol Zoo (ZOO! ZOO!).

Expect an unusual number of animal shots. Oh, and little twirling girls. I’m such a sucker for little twirling girls *Mum sigh*

It was January. Darkly forbidding around the edges. And the country still reeling from all the rain and the flooding and the chaos of it all. The weather held out for the most part (thankyoukindlyverymuch).

It was a good good day filled with lovely people (and lions. Just sayin and, let’s face it, not something I get to say all that often).

Look out for – in no particular order – a vicar in the kitchen; those SHOES – oh my, those shoes. You’ll see what I mean; an emergency sewing-session (with not a hint of panic. Just keep threading those needles, girls!); a lemur (well, duh). I think that’s enough to keep you going…

Many thanks to the husband Chris Turnbull for coming along to second shoot today. And for doing all the driving #rockstar
