Sophie & James – a Wembury and Polhawn Fort wedding

‘Oh my goodness Lucy we love love love them all!! Amazing!! Just awesome and amazing and awesome!!
Thank you so much!
I love them all. You have really captured the magical energy of the day. Perfect memories!
Thank you. Xx’

Sophie and James, then, married on a fine, sunny, blue skied day in June. The wedding was at the ever lovely St Werburghs at Wembury in Devon followed, after a drive (and a boat. A BOAT!) by a reception at Polhawn Fort on the Rame Peninsula in Cornwall. The very lovely Sophie (TOTAL Trekkie and I love her all the more for it) and the girls got ready at Buckland Tout Saints.

She wore an Alfred Sung dress restructured by Birds Bridal in Chelmsford and her Grandmother’s earings. Hair and makeup were brilliantly done by the lovely ladies from lovehair and those gorgeous flowers are by Blue Geranium.

The amazing food was supplied by Miss Tea and the evening ents were courtesy of Legendary. You need only look at the images to see how well they were received 🙂

Look out for:

EPIC dancing – James’ BRILLIANT wedding cake (he made it himself – oh, yes) – starfish

splasyh seasidey goodness – croquet – one of the godamned prettiest brides ever

(the groom scrubbed up pretty well, too 😉 )
