This blog post is actually probably a bit too big. And usually I’d apologize or spend days fussing and fiddling trying to beat it into something smaller.
But, no. I’m not going to. Because this is, after all, a story and sometimes you just can’t lob bits off and expect it to magically work.
And everything here – everything in the wedding – works.
Aksinia’s amazing wedding dresses – one for the day and a family heirloom dress for the evening.
Ten billion or so shots of Louis because that boy is just MAGIC.
George – no matter how much he dislikes having his photo taken – smiling and doing anyway because – TODAY – he gets to marry the woman he loves.
The amazing Rev Mark Aiken with whom my camera is so very much in love.
And that’s not even looking at the incredible venues – St Giles House in Wimborne St Giles, and George’s family home for the reception. And the styling by Lillingston of London, the brilliant food by Tom’s Feast and the simply gorgeous flowers by Tattie Rose of (again) London
The croquembouche wedding cake plays homage to Aksinia’s French upbringing back in Avignon and – oh, yes – the very energetic and feet-dance-shakingly-good Neville Staple Band.
Enough from me. To the pictures!
