Zoe and Ben – a Dartmoor wedding

“I would rather spend one lifetime with you than face all of the ages of the world alone” J. R. R. Tolkien

Words go here.

Ideally, lots of words. But it’s not actually as easy as you might think. It’s late July and I’m already thirteen weddings in and my head is a-buzz with confetti and champagne corks and sunshine (and rain).

And also, some weddings just defy words. It’s be over-egging the pudding. Gilding the lily. Making noise for the sake of it.

Love. Love and laughter. A few tears along the way, too – it’s a totes emosh business this wedding lark.

Today’s weddingy love adventure sees us back at Ever After on the edge of Dartmoor working along side Baxter and Ted. A quiet morning of preps were follwed by a very very slightly damp handfasting and a super quick legal bit in the barn. Incredible flowers by Amanda Randell paired beautifully with a fab cake by Edible Essence.

A small spattering of rain later (it bally well CHUCKED it down) and we headed to the woods for a wee shoot by the river under the trees.
