I get hugely excited about shooting weddings.
There’s a unique blend of personal meets formal meets tender meets exuberance to a wedding.
I love that sense of a family and friends standing together quietly for a brief spell before the future comes rushing in.
You just can’t beat it.
I live on the Cornwall/Devon border with my two loud and chaotic children, wonderful dog Winifred and That Bloody Cat. He’s called Wilbur and is a very loud and obnoxious Siamese.
I like food, wine, books (books are the best!), Dartmoor and the sea.
I like the smell of hot tarmac after rain and I love to travel.
I love Italy and Italian food but am tragically allergic to wheat (sad face) and mosquitos (ugh) which seems like a very cruel irony as Florentine mosquitos have something of a taste for me.
I love what I do. I know it’s a terrible cliche but it really is an honour to be invited to shoot someone’s wedding.
Whilst I’m based in beautiful Cornwall I love to photograph weddings further afield.
